Taco Trucks

Echo Park
Tacos Arizas, parked conveniently at the corner of Logan and Sunset, next to Walgreens and Lassens, currently serves Echo Park usually from around 6pm to just after midnight. While a relatively family friendly atmosphere in the early evening, Arizas becomes a local rendezvous point for club goers looking for a midnight snack. While it is hard to go wrong with anything on the menu, a personal favorite here at My Realtor News is the asada burrito with cheese complimented by a fresh horchata.
Highland Park
Unlike other neighborhoods in this editorial, Highland Park is rather lucky. In addition to being home to the Museum of Public Fiction (which by the way is definitely worth some research and a visit) Highland Park also has a gathering at 300 N. Ruby St (Avenue 62 & Ruby for those who need not be lowered to the status of needing a map) of delicious food trucks from across Los Angeles. Eat at Fig & York, which unfortunately is no longer at Fig & York, has a seemingly overwhelming to the faint at heart, or stomach for that matter, but to the die-hard Angelos it is a dream come true.
Glassell Park
Only open weekends and evenings, the Verdugo Taco Stand has been a neighborhood icon for years. This is not technically a food truck so much as a food cart, however Arturo is too nice and far too great a cook to not be included in this editorial. Arturo’s stand is by far the cheapest in our segment and arguably the best in Los Angeles at $1 per item, he is hard to beat. While there is sometimes a line, it is well worth the wait after all, greatness does take some time. After coming out of semi-retirement last year, Arturo is back and better than ever serving Glassell Park at Verdugo & Avenue 33.

Eagle Rock
Rambo’s Tacos is a must for any night owl in Eagle Rock. Unlike most other food trucks however, Rambo’s is open in spirit during the day as a taco stand in West Covina for those who would actually brave the 10 for tacos. The truck, usually parked between York and El Paso Dr, is under the same watchful eye as the restaurant and consequently just as delicious, especially for late night munchies. Not unlike their Echo Park rivals, it is difficult to find poor options on the menu. With such good choices, picking what to eat is beyond difficult. To quote a great philosopher “go with your gut” when deciding how to end your night at one of our favorite taco trucks in Los Angeles.
